Big Game Packaged Hunts - 2007 / 2008

The historic El Canelo Ranch is situated in the southern portion of Kenedy County, Texas, just south of the King Ranch. The area is known for its plentiful wildlife. Hunts are conducted in the ranch's pristine South Texas brush country. Choose from hunts that include deluxe accommodations and gourmet meals at the Inn at El Canelo. Also included are airport pickup at Harlingen, Texas; beverages; field transportation; and game field dressing.

TROPHY WHITETAIL BUCK HUNT (4 DAYS, 3 NIGHTS)
This is one on one guided hunt is booked during the peak of the South Texas rut. The package gives the hunter the opportunity to take one trophy buck, one doe, one hog or javelina, and unlimited coyotes. Trophy Fee applies. Trophy Fees are $1000.00 for any buck up to 135 SCI, gross green score at the time of harvest. An additional $100.00 per inch is added for each inch over 135.- ($2500.00 plus Trophy Fee)

MATURE BUCK HUNT (3 DAYS, 2 NIGHTS)
The hunter has the opportunity to take a mature eight point buck, one hog or one javelina, one doe when population census permits, and unlimited coyotes. - ($2,950.00)

MANAGEMENT BUCK HUNT (3 DAYS, 2 NIGHTS)
The hunter has the opportunity to take one buck less than 8 points, one hog or one javelina, and one doe when populations census permits, and unlimited coyotes. - ($1950.00)

BULL NILGAI HUNT (3 DAYS, 2 NIGHTS)
This hunt is booked year round. The hunter the best opportunity to take a bull nilgai, which can weigh-in around 500 to 800 pounds. This massive antelope imported from India is a challenging trophy to pursue in the South Texas brush country. - ($2,500.00)

RIO GRANDE TURKEY HUNT (3 DAYS, 2 NIGHTS)
This hunt is a two-on-one guided hunt and is booked during the South Texas spring turkey season. The hunter is given the opportunity to take one gobbler. - ($1,650.00)

COST FOR ADDITIONAL GAME / (when available):

ALL HUNTS INCLUDE:
- Check in at 1 p.m. on day one, check out at 11:30 a.m. on last day.
- Airport pickup (one round-trip per group).
- Gourmet meals beginning with dinner on the day of arrival.
- Deluxe accommodations (double occupancy).
- All beverages except hard liquor (please bring your favorite).
- Field transportation and a professional guide.
- All big game field dressing for your convenience.
- The first and last day hunts are half-day hunts.
- Non-hunting guests are welcome at $200.00 per day on a space available basis.
 
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
- Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Deposits are due upon request.
- Hunters will be billed the full balance of their hunt if cancellations are not received within 20 days prior to their hunt.
