Bass Fishing on the Ranch

El Canelo Ranch provides bass fishing opportunities to all Bed & Breakfast guests at no extra charge. Guests are encouraged to bring along fishing tackle to fish in our ponds, where all fishing is "catch and release". Children welcome! 

Saltwater Fishing in the Laguna Madre

In cooperation with the Fishing Guide's Association, El Canelo Ranch can make arrangements for a day on the famous Laguna Madre Bay of South Texas. Your guide will meet you in Port Mansfield (about 45 minutes drive from the Ranch), where you will cast off for secret locations in the bay where you will wade for tailing redfish and spotted sea trout. A great combination is a Dove Hunting/Fishing weekend; packages are available.
